Digital CV (Open EdX course)
As the generation of digital natives, our students are accustomed to immersing themselves in virtual environments for entertaining and socializing on a daily basis. The use of digital tools has also become a growing trend in job hunting. More and more companies are now inviting candidates to submit digital CVs to showcase their strengths and demonstrate how they can contribute to the firm. To respond quickly to the changing market environment and better equip students for their upcoming job searches and interviews, we develop an online course focused on ‘CV writing and digital CVs’. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare a traditional written CV, how to create a digital CV for self-introduction or specific interview purposes, as well as how to prepare for an interview. Some exercises incorporate game elements (gamification) to increase student engagement and enjoyment in learning.
作為數碼原生代，同學習慣每天沉浸在虛擬環境中進行娛樂和社交。在求職方面，使用數碼工具也成為一個日益增長的趨勢。越來越多的公司會邀請求職者提交數碼履歷，展示他們的優勢和說明他們如何為公司作出貢獻。為了迅速應對不斷變化的市場環境，並讓同學能更好地準備求職和面試，我們發展了「數碼履歷」這個網上課程。透過課程，同學可以學習如何準備傳統的書面履歷、如何創建數碼履歷以用於自我介紹或特定的面試目的，以及如何準備面試。部分練習融入遊戲元素(gamification)，希望能增加同學學習樂趣。
